T’ít’q’et has formed several business ventures in the past. One of the earliest was Salish Enterprises – a joint venture with the other members of the St’át’imc Nation – this was a building supply company that originally operated out of the large tin shed at the boundary of IR #1.
Another business was the community selling gravel from a pit on IR #1 to a local contractor. As part of the Food Security Initiative that began with the Ucwalmicw Centre community garden, Amlec Organic Ltd. had processed and sold garden produce.
And of course, there were several groups over the years who ran the concession stand out at the lake, mainly the Elders Council and various youth groups.
There are also T’ít’q’et members who have their own businesses that operate out of their own homes on reserve.
