The roles and responsibilities of the T’it’q’et Administration Finance Manager is to intersect with other T’it’q’et Administration departments with budgeting, reporting, monitor department revenue and expenditures, and provides departments with monthly financial statements. The Finance Manager also provides Chief and Council with financial information to assist them with decision-making.
Sabrina James has been the Finance Manager since June 2016. She has taken the Accounting Technician Course at Thompson Rivers University, formally University College of the Cariboo, from 2005 to 2007. In 2015, she completed the Executive Office Administrator with Practicum at Sprott Shaw College in Kamloops. She is currently working on completing her Certified Aboriginal Finance Managers Certificate (CAFM) with Aboriginal Financial Officers Associations (AFOA).
